LA MACCHIA

In Tuscany, when we express the desire to venture into the woods, we use the phrase "Let's go to La Macchia." Translated, "Macchia" signifies "the stain," capturing the essence of the dense and entwined vegetation found in the Mediterranean.

In Italian, there's a clever expression, "darsi alla macchia," which conveys the act of hiding and making oneself unavailable.

The choice of the name for the largest room in our Agriturismo draws inspiration from the colors of the room and the sense of seclusion it offers, evoking the feeling of being hidden away in nature.

In Toscana, quando diciamo che vogliamo andare nel bosco, diciamo "Andiamo alla Macchia". La parola rappresenta al meglio la densa e intricata vegetazione di alberi e arbusti tipica del Mediterraneo.

Ci siamo ispirate anche al modo di dire "darsi alla macchia", che significa nascondersi e rendersi irreperibili. 

La scelta del nome per la stanza più grande del nostro Agriturismo prende ispirazione dai suoi colori e dalla sensazione di rifugio offerti dalla nostra location, evocando il senso di nascondersi nella natura.
